Advent 2006 Concerts

Our Advent concerts include a diverse, classical, sacred repertoire in a lessons-and-carols style, pairing musical selections with contemporary poetry and sacred readings from the Christian tradition. Vocal selections include Latin, German, Venezuelan, English, Genevan Psalter, and American Advent and Christmas music. Readings from Walter Brueggemann, Madeleine L’Engle, Alan Boesak, Meister Eckhart, Oscar Romero, and others are interwoven with scripture and music throughout the concert.
