InVocation is a Minneapolis-based a cappella choral ensemble that draws upon the rich and varied musical histories of its members to present concerts that draw listeners into the beauty of song.


Our Mission

InVocation is a joy-based endeavor with a charitable purpose: we offer our gift of song to raise funds for local charities. Just as we feel called to sing, we hope that our music will call forth a response from within each listener to contribute to the betterment of our communities, our nation, and our world.


Our Sixth Season

InVocation is hard at work preparing a mix of fresh and familiar music for our sixth annual Christmas Concert Series, “Carols at the Spinet…and the Djembe…and the Dulcimer” — so mark your calendars for December 3, 4, 9, or 10! As always, admission to our concerts is free, and proceeds from free-will donations will help further the work of a local charity. This season, we’re excited to be partnering with The Emergency Foodshelf Network — a nonprofit food bank that collects, warehouses, and distributes quality food and essential support services to Minnesota hunger relief organizations. We hope to see you there!
